Chérot is a 246-acre community in St. Albert inspired by timeless European character and charm — from the architecture to the entrance features, parks, playgrounds and trails.
Named for Emile and Celestine Chérot. Married in France in 1909 and in Canada by 1911, they worked their way to St. Albert and grew market vegetables on 45 acres along the green belt between St. Albert and Edmonton.
Paris Playground
A 25-foot Eiffel Tower and a bridge hung with love locks, in Chelles Park. Open year round since 2023.
Future Recreation Centre
The Community Amenity Site is planned as St. Albert’s premiere recreation facility, indoor and out.
